First saw SJS in Phantom, and my impression of him was that his expression was perpetually sad and couldn't emote any way else. I stopped watching halfway through the show because I couldn't stand the ridiculous plot. Then almost a year later, I chanced upon Master's Sun and was hooked onto him. He charmed me a whole lot more with alternating happy and sad (and sometimes comical) looks rather than as a wooden block of etched frown/sad look.
Since 5 September 2013 (ep 10 of MS), within three months, I've finished watching all 4 of his korean movies (and also his chinese one), as well as 6 of his korean dramas and 2 drama/movie cfs. Actually, to tell the truth, I've no idea why people would watch korean dramas/movies if not for watching eye candies. I've suffered through illogical and slow moving plots purely by looking forward to the next scene I get to see the good looker do something interesting. Well, at least the acting is good, unlike some of Singapore's shows. Someday I'll write short reviews about all the shows that I've watched.
